INTRO

Claudia, a former IFBB bikini athlete, first injured her

shoulder in 2016 with a minor dislocation during training.

1/ Rest & massage

Reduce pain symptoms temporarily — but they don’t address the underlying problem, and so your issues come roaring back when you train again.

2/ Stretches

Ease tension for a few hours — but don’t rebuild the shoulder’s strength or stability. They make you weaker and less stable instead.

3/ Generic physio plans

Never prepare your body for the demands of real training. The gap is too big between a 3kg external rotation and a dumbbell shoulder press.

Most people are given surface-level solutions that don’t address the root cause.
