1) LACK OF SUPPORT

 

The Problem:

 

I was on a call with someone last week, who was worried to sign up to my program.

 

Why? Before we met:

 

A physio had let him down – because he got NO support from them, no guidance, and no accountability.

 

 Because of this my client failed.

 

This is very common with traditional rehab. Even if you get a good plan, you don’t get the support to execute that plan and succeed.

  • Specialists say they can “manipulate your fascia“. But fascia is as strong as steel. It’s too tough to change, stretch, or release (PMID 18723456).

 

  • You’re told to “fix your posture”, meanwhile studies show (eg. PMID 19910263) posture has NO impact on causing, reducing or improving pain symptoms.

 

  • You’re told “massage or foam roll”. And whilst it reduces pain for a day or two, studies show (eg. PMID 11068563) massage doesn’t help fix injury.

 

  • You’re told “injections help”. But it only helps SOME issues, has MINOR short term benefits and can destroy your connective tissues (PMID 27469590).

 

See, these treatments line the pockets of pharma, or dodgy practitioners, but do nothing to help you…

 

 

The Solution:

 

Truth and science-backed approaches are all I care about when building injury Programs.
